Privacy Policy for Visual Metronome

Visual Metronome is published by Rexyrex. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Settings and practice data

Tempo, sound choices, rhythm patterns and saved presets are stored locally on your device. The app does not provide an account or cloud sync. Device backups may preserve local app data according to your operating-system settings.

Analytics and diagnostics

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. These services process app interactions, app-instance or installation identifiers, device and operating-system information, and crash and diagnostic data to help us understand usage and improve reliability. Analytics can derive an approximate geographic area from network information. The app does not request GPS access or record microphone audio.

We do not set a user ID, collect account details, display advertising, or sell personal information. Service providers process information on our behalf. See Firebase privacy information and Google’s privacy policy.

Retention and security

Local preferences remain until you clear app data or remove the app, subject to device backups. Service-provider data follows the relevant retention settings and policies. Firebase documents a 90-day retention period for Crashlytics crash reports and associated identifiers before removal begins. Data is transmitted using encrypted network connections. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Choices and requests

You can stop future app collection by discontinuing use. To request information or deletion of data we can identify, contact rexyrex.dev@gmail.com. We may need additional information to locate a particular app installation. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your information.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

International processing and changes

Our service providers may process information in countries outside your own. We may update this policy by changing the effective date and publishing the revised policy here.
