Privacy Policy for Reverse Image Search

Photos and visual searches
You choose a photo from your library or camera. The app resizes the selected image and uploads it to Litterbox (Catbox), or to ImgBB if the first upload fails. We request a 24-hour expiration. These services return a public image URL, which the app sends to Google Lens, TinEye, Yandex Images, and Bing Visual Search to perform your search. Anyone who obtains that URL may access the image while it is available. Do not choose an image you do not want shared with these providers.
We do not operate an image storage server or maintain our own copy of your uploads. The hosts control deletion and retention under their policies; the 24-hour setting does not control copies retained by search providers or others. Selected photos may remain in the app’s local temporary storage until removed by the app or operating system.
In-app browsing
Results open in embedded web browsers. Search providers receive the image URL, IP address, browser/device information, and interactions with their pages. They may use cookies, collect browsing or search activity, and show their own ads. Their policies govern those pages. The app has no account or sign-in requirement.
Advertising
Google AdMob serves interstitial ads. Its SDK can collect IP-derived approximate location, device identifiers, app interactions, advertising interactions, and diagnostic information to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. On Android, the existing app uses the Android advertising identifier where available.
On iOS, we request privacy choices through Google’s consent system where required and request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. AdMob may access IDFA only if you allow tracking. Declining tracking does not block image searches. Advertising choices can affect whether ads are personalized, limited, or unavailable. When required, a Privacy choices button lets you revisit your consent. You can also change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
We do not sell photos or account information. Some advertising processing may constitute sharing or sale under applicable US privacy laws; the US privacy message provides an opt-out where applicable.
Analytics and crash reports on iOS
The iOS app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand usage and fix failures. Analytics records app/session information and events such as selecting an image source, starting a search, switching engines, and displaying an ad. Crashlytics receives crash/error stack traces, app and operating-system information, diagnostic state, and related usage breadcrumbs. Firebase uses installation/app-instance identifiers. We do not set a user account ID or send photos, image URLs, local photo paths, or search contents as custom analytics parameters.
Firebase Analytics advertising-ID collection and ad personalization signals are disabled in this app. This configuration is separate from the AdMob consent choices above. The Android release does not use these Firebase integrations.
Other data and retention
The app stores a search counter locally to skip ads on the first search. It is removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Google Fonts may receive standard network metadata when fonts are downloaded. Network services receive IP address, device/browser information, and request times. Advertising, browsing, analytics, and diagnostic data are retained according to the providers’ policies and service settings.
Your choices
Choose only photos you want to search. You can cancel the photo picker, revoke camera/photo permission in device settings, change tracking permission, revisit available privacy choices, or stop using the app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or obtain a copy of personal data. Contact us for assistance; requests concerning a search provider or image host may need to be addressed to that provider. There is no app account to delete.
Providers
Children, security, and updates
The app is not directed to children under 13. It accesses general web search results, which may contain mature material. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Services may process data internationally. App requests use HTTPS, but no transmission or storage system is perfectly secure.
